 nd rigorous back to back training\, Veterans re-entering the civilian worl
 d can be a difficult challenge to overcome for most. Because of this\, Vet
 erans struggling with substance use disorder and PTSD often enter treatmen
 t extremely guarded and/or resistant to treatment\, which can lead to them
  leaving treatment early. Substance abuse and PTSD are complex issues that
  require consistent care and commitment to healing for any population\, bu
 t for Veterans\, it's important to understand the barriers that they face
