Residential treatment at Wooded Glen Recovery Center provides a safe, structured environment for men and women who are struggling with substance use disorders, where they can begin their recovery journey.

Tactical Recovery: Caring for Veterans

Wooded Glen began offering it’s Tactical Recovery program because few addiction and mental health centers are genuinely qualified in understanding and treating Veterans and first responders. Far too often, individuals in this population do not receive the level of treatment they deserve from people who understand the full impact of military service and other first responder roles. Located less than thirty minutes outside of Louisville, Kentucky, and on 500 acres of private land, Wooded Glen Recovery Center provides trauma-informed care within a service-oriented culture, using evidence-based practices that have proven to be effective with Veterans. Wooded Glen also treats co-occurring mental health issues, such as PTSD and anxiety.
